New NAB Travel booking experience marks significant milestone and expands Expedia Group’s B2B partner network in Australia
Sydney, Australia – September 17, 2026 - Expedia Group announced today it is partnering with National Australia Bank (NAB) to provide the newly launched NAB Travel booking experience. It is Expedia Group B2B’s first arrangement of this kind with an Australian bank.
What is NAB Travel?
NAB Travel brings Expedia Group B2B’s travel technology, inventory and customer support capabilities to NAB’s customers in Australia, through, a new booking experience.
The relationship extends Expedia Group's B2B footprint in Australia into a new distribution channel, bringing its travel technology, inventory and customer support capabilities into a platform millions of Australians already use and trust for their everyday banking.
Why is the NAB Travel launch significant?
The launch marks Expedia Group B2B’s first arrangement of this kind with an Australian bank and expands its B2B partner network in Australia.
NAB Travel’s launch comes as Australians increasingly look beyond traditional travel providers when planning and booking trips. Expedia Group’s 2025 Traveller Value Index found 63% of Australian consumers are somewhat ormore likely to travel internationally in the next 12 months, while travellers are balancing their appetite to get away with a growing focus on value and flexibility.
How are Australians connecting travel with banking and rewards?
Expedia Group’s 2025 Traveller Value Index indicates that many Australians are open to booking travel through non-travel loyalty programs when rewards are available.
The research also highlights an opportunity for travel to become more closely integrated with everyday banking and rewards. Almost three quarters (72%) of Australians say they would book travel through a non-travel loyalty program if they could earn points.
Carolina Cabero, SVP Sales, Expedia Group B2B said “The partnership represents Expedia Group’s commitment to growing and enhancing the traveller experience through cutting-edge technologies, empowering our partners to deliver great experiences to their customers and drive customer loyalty. We’re proud to welcome NAB as Expedia Group B2B’s first Australian banking partner and support the launch of NAB Travel.”
NAB Executive Personal Everyday Banking Sweta Mehra said “Australians haven’t stopped wanting to travel, but they are making more considered choices about where and how they book. NAB Travel gives customers a new way to search, book and manage travel all in the one place through their banking app.”
